Olhos abertos no escuro — Epígrafe de Mayrant Gallo e dedicatória

A frase foi retirada do livro de contos Pés quentes nas noites frias (Funceb-EGBA, 1999), de Mayrant Gallo, pg. 31, conto Noite em Brotas, para ser a epígrafe do meu livro de contos Olhos abertos no escuro. Foi difícil escolher uma epígrafe, pois Mayrant tem diversas frases geniais (veja esse compilado especial para títulos que peneirei aqui).

Formando o meu contexto para a criação deste livro, li Mayrant Gallo, Hélio Pólvora, Nelson Rodrigues, Anton Tchekhov, Dino Buzzati, Guy de Maupassant e Gonçalo M. Tavares.

E o escrevi ao som do duo norte-americano Hammock.

Dedico-o, com reverência, ao escritor, mestre e grande amigo Mayrant Gallo.
